RPR (DX) REFL FTA-ABS 0036126

This is a screening test for syphilis. If you have systemic lupus erythematosus, leprosy, brucellosis, atypical pneumonia, typhus, yaws, pinta, or pregnancy a false positive may result. Discuss an alternative test like the FTA-ABS to check for Syphillis instead. Otherwise, using the RPR to monitor for syphillis is helpful in assessing effectiveness of therapy.
