Instead of adjusting your schedule and expending effort to get to our office, you schedule a telehealth appointment at a time that’s convenient for you. All you need is the technology you’ll use to connect with your provider and a well-lit space where you can talk privately and without interruption.

Telehealth can be used for physical and mental health treatment needs including:

  • Conditions like pinkeye
  • Symptoms like upset stomach or headache
  • Minor injuries like sprains
  • Mental health symptoms like anxiety or depression
  • Colds, flu, and fevers
  • Follow-up appointments

What to expect at your first appointment

Using telehealth services for the first time can seem intimidating, but when you have all of the information on what to expect, you can relax and receive needed care in comfort, without hassle or stress. MIMPC offers telehealth treatment using video technology. If it works better for you, we can conduct more limited treatment over the phone.

Ideally, it’s good to have a private room for your appointment. If you want a friend or family member to sit in with you to support you during your appointment, that’s fine, too.

We send you detailed instructions prior to your first appointment so you know how to connect with us. Our telemedicine technology lets you talk to your provider in real time, upload images of symptoms or paperwork, and even get prescriptions called in to the pharmacy of your choice.

We start with a review of your symptoms and medical history, examining you remotely via video or images you upload as needed to diagnose your condition and begin the right course of treatment. We ask questions to get the information we need to make or confirm a diagnosis and answer any questions you have.
